New Owner (Jeff)
I love this dog! Beautiful conformation! He is absolutely gorgeous! No issues on the way home. We spent about 20 minutes playing in the grass after he got off the plane. I immediately put a collar and lead on him and there were no issues; took to it very naturally. After I put him in the car he whined for about 10 minutes then settled right down. About 45 minutes later we stopped at Lake of the Woods for
another break. He was on lead the entire time with almost no resistance. Waded in the water and took
interest in the abundant wildlife. Back in the car, 5 minutes of whining, than fast asleep. He really loves the kids and grandpa Jack (my black lab). We played all afternoon and he took to the family like he's known us forever. I fed him after our arrival at the house and he devoured it without reservation. I have never owned a dog that seems so at home so fast. Thank you Cheryl for your dedication to this breed.
New Owner (Scott) I just wanted to touch base and let you know how Timber is doing.  He’s all puppy…and we are loving every minute of it.  The first few days at his new home he was pretty mellow.  Those days are gone.  He’s rambunctious, curious, busy, and loveable all at the same time.  Never a dull moment. I’ve attached some pictures of him pointing in the back yard.  Wow, what a natural.  Alyssa was practicing with her new fishing pole and Timber locked on to the plastic plug.  He held point for a couple of minutes…it was amazing.  Then on Saturday we took him to a park with a small pond.  He was having a great time splashing in the water, watching the ducks and geese.  Then he locked on point at the base of a bush.  I couldn’t figure out what he was pointing at…there wasn’t anything there.  But he wouldn’t give up and held his point.  So I finally investigated and realized a drake hen was at the base of the bush sitting on her nest.  Timber found her with his nose and wouldn’t break point for anything.  I’m so proud of him.

New Owner (John) Choko is settling in really well.  Levi runs and Choko chases. Its a fun game to watch but usually winds up with Choko on top gnawing somewhere on Levi. Bello (yorkie) and her are starting to share similar spaces now.  Choko just wants to play and Bello will have none of it.  She has some fierce teeth so I feel for the little dude.  We are loving her dearly and our family is embracing each day we spend with her.  Cheers! -The Bevans (John, Kristen, Levi, Bello and Choko)
